You are in a situation that is not relating to your unique style of contribution.  Someone around you does not have the energy to even try to understand.  Still you have so much energy that you need to express it somewhere.  You feel confident in what you have to say and know that you have a valuable lesson to teach.  Which way do you go from here?  You are afraid to face your fears.  Be careful, my friend, with how you try to improve your situation.  If your solution is questionable, it is better to be safe than sorry.  You will get caught.  You never know who speaks what language.  If you remain above-board in all manner of speaking you will have the best possible luck.  Do not think about whether you are understood or not.  Give it some thought.  Adrienne Rich wrote, “I believe that words can help us move or keep us paralysed, and that our choices of language and verbal tone have something – a great deal – to do with how we live our lives and whom we end up speaking with and hearing; and that we can deflect words by trivialization, of course, but also by ritualized respect, or we can let them enter our souls and mix with the juices of our minds.”
